Grant Reviews
Are you ready to craft successful grant applications that get noticed by funders? Here, you’ll learn all the sh!t you need to know to assemble compelling proposals and win funding for projects you care about.
Here’s how grant reviews work:
01.
Submit your draft application to LwL
I will evaluate your application for clarity, coherence, alignment with the funder's guidelines, and overall competitiveness. I may suggest revisions and improvements, or highlight potential weaknesses in the proposal that could be addressed before submission.
02.
Together, we’ll fine-tune that sh!t
You will then take the recommendations, and edit your draft by addressing any identified gaps or concerns. You can also seek further input or clarification during this revision process to ensure your application is well-prepared for the funder's review. Live feedback is crucial to learning.
03.
Submit the application to the funder
Submit the application following the funder’s guidelines. Your application goes through the standard submission and review process conducted by the funder. This may involve the initial screening to check for eligibility and adherence to submission guidelines.
By using LwL in the pre-submission stage, you will benefit from expert guidance and increase your chances of submitting a strong and competitive application to the funder. The funder doesn’t need to know you phoned a friend.
Before you hit 'send', let's make sure your grant application isn't just good – it's a knockout. Toss that sh!t our way and let our team do their thing. We'll comb through it, line it up with what the funders are looking for, iron out any snags, and throw in some strategic advice. It's the boost your application needs to not just compete, but crush it.

Application Review Testimonial
“Lauryn took my application and helped me turn it into something so fantastic, I never even dreamed it was possible. Not only did my application stand out, it was publicly commended by the evaluation team, and I was selected. She had me feeling like a king, but she deserves the crown. No doubt.

Template Testimonial
“I am not very tech-savvy, so I was a little worried about being able to use the templates. However, I found them to be super user-friendly and I easily customized them to exactly what I needed. The templates saved me hours of work and are affordable. I'm already looking forward to using more of them. Highly recommend!”

I can, but I won’t. You’ve probably heard the saying “Give someone a fish and they’ll eat for a day. Teach someone to fish and they’ll eat for a lifetime.” You are about to learn all the sh!t you need to know to write for a lifetime.

No. This is a valid question, but it is considered unethical. Grants fund future expenses as they are outlined in your grant budget, not past expenses.

Sorry, parents. College scholarships are as foreign to me as attending an 8 a.m. class on a Friday. However, I do recommend googling FAFSA. You'd be surprised how much aid can come through federal and state grants, which you don't have to pay back.
